Job Description

Position Summary:
Under direct supervision of a senior engineer.
Basic Duties:
Provide electrical conceptual and detailed designs, methods and materials specifications, electrical equipment administration, building code compliance, cost estimating, feasibility studies. Support of procurement and construction activities. Perform site inspections and have direct interaction with clients.
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years electrical engineering design experience is required. Candidate must have experience with electrical power distribution, sizing of electrical equipment and materials such as cable and conduit, motor control, lighting and grounding design. Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, or related field. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, electrical and building codes, NEC, IEEE, NFPA and MS office. Candidate must be able to travel, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects. Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detailed-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills. Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision. Valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required.

EIT Bilingual English / Spanish abilities Experience as a discipline lead for multidisciplinary design and construction projects.
