Assistant Electrical Detailer -
Revit Modeler Location:
Brea, California (On-site)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented professional to support high-voltage substation design projects. Our team values precise 3D modeling and accurate construction drawings that drive smooth project execution and collaboration across engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain 3D Revit models to support engineering and construction activities for substation projects. Create accurate 2D construction drawings and ensure all documents are kept up to date throughout the project lifecycle. Model equipment, conduit, grounding, and cable routing within substation layouts. Coordinate closely with engineering staff to implement project feedback and incorporate design changes efficiently.
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in drafting technology or related field with a minimum of 2 years hands-on Revit experience OR Associate Degree with a minimum of 3 years hands-on Revit experience OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years hands-on Revit experience. Internship experience is not counted towards minimum years of required experience. Experience in AutoCAD and the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and engineering plans. Bachelor's degree in any Engineering field from an ABET accredited institution is not accepted for CADD roles.
