We are a diverse and experienced group of passionate and curious designers, builders, engineers, product developers, and businesspeople who are passionate about and committed to delivering on our mission. We've demonstrated there is a massive opportunity to reduce waste and improve sustainability while building homes in a fraction of the time it takes traditionally. If you share the desire to leave a lasting positive impact on the world and to join a strong culture of intelligent, passionate people, then let's start a conversation. What you will be responsible for: We are looking for an experienced MEPF engineer to join our integrated architecture and engineering team focusing on volumetric prefabricated offsite construction and onsite assembly of single-family homes. You will own the design and implementation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems of the product, from the design and documentation that lives in our models to the energy compliance package filed for every home we build. This role encompasses both sides of our business. On the product side, you will innovate, develop, and maintain MEPF design, details, and specifications as the product evolves. On the project side, you will produce permit documentation including Title 24 energy documentation, collate HERS documentation, and respond to jurisdiction comments so every home permits cleanly and on schedule. Here at Aro, our engineers take a product version from ideation through NTA approvals, then works closely with the plant and the field until it builds cleanly.
