An Electrical Designer designs and creates layout for the electrical systems that power lighting, security, telephone and sound in buildings; creates wiring diagrams, develops specifications for electrical systems to meet code requirements. Designs and create layout of the printed circuit boards that are components of most electronic equipment.

Job Description
- Develop design drawings that include but not limited to floor plans, elevations, details, and schedule.
- Use Bluebeam to facilitate markups between team members.
- Available during regular business hours to meet and respond to the needs of clients and to be available to ATCE staff, and as needed beyond regular business hours when necessary.
- Implement ATCE quality assurance procedures during design process (e.g., Design Criteria submission, Design Checklists, Interdisciplinary Coordination Schedules, etc.).
- Check all technical work for accuracy. Review technical content with other team members.
- Perform various calculations to determine sizing, quantities, and placement of various elements.
- Review documents from clients and/or sub-contractors that may include technology standards, submittals, and product spec sheets.
- Perform submittal reviews and insures accurate, timely response to all construction RFI's.
- May be required to visit project locations during construction to perform job walks for field verification and coordination and perform punch walks.
- Attend various project meetings as required. Ideal Candidate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be needed to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other team members.
- A passion for working in a team-based environment to deliver solutions to clients.
- Excellent problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple project deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam.
- Proficient at working with clients and the architectural and MEP design teams. Essential Requirements
- 3-7 years' experience working on Technology designs including but not limited to Low Voltage Cabling and Audio-Visual Systems.
- Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, BIM Tools, Wi-Fi Modeling Software.
- Working knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM360.
- Proficient in developing details, schedules, and maintaining Revit families and libraries.
