Electrical BIM Design Technician (Data Center & Power Systems) Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative, and technically proficient Electrical BIM Design Technician to join our growing electrical design team. In this role, you will transform conceptual ideas into innovative solutions for cutting-edge data center and industrial facilities. You will work closely with senior electrical engineers and multi-discipline teams (Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Telecom) to establish design requirements, manage Revit BIM models, and produce fully coordinated 3D models and 2D construction drawings. This is a dynamic, remote-friendly opportunity for a design technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate clash-free 3D models, translate design intents into constructable deliverables, and apply your technical expertise to shape the future of mission-critical infrastructure. If you possess a strong background in electrical Revit modeling and building systems, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities BIM Modeling & Design Coordination
Revit Model Management:
Set up, manage, and evolve electrical Revit BIM models in strict accordance with project requirements and client BIM standards. Multi-Discipline Coordination:
Utilize Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD to create and manage content toward fully coordinated, clash-free 3D models across all engineering disciplines. Construction Document Production:
Translate redlines, markups, and verbal direction from senior electrical designers into comprehensive 2D construction drawings and installation packages. Electrical Systems Design:
Support the design and layout of electrical power distribution, cable routing, and lighting systems under the direction of discipline leads. Project Execution & Technical Support Code & Standard Application:
Apply a working understanding of electrical codes, industry standards, specifications, and device wiring connections to shape accurate design decisions. Effort Estimation:
