Job Description

Join a specialized industrial steam plant control system integrator near New Haven, CT, where your role will involve creating cutting-edge combustion control and burner management systems. Leverage your expertise in PLC programming while gaining comprehensive knowledge on boilers, burners, controls, and instrumentation—hands-on training provided for motivated candidates. To excel, bring your strong technical acumen and your commitment to achieving strategic goals.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
Interpreting project specs to ensure alignment with client requisites. Developing wiring and logic diagrams utilizing AutoCAD. Programming diverse PLCs and user interfaces, predominantly working with Allen Bradley systems, yet exploring solutions with alternative processors. Crafting algorithms for combustion control via loop controllers, employing equipment such as Siemens 353s and Yokogawa YS1700s. Designing and implementing SCADA solutions, frequently using Proficy iFIX and Wonderware. Choosing optimal instrumentation for flow, pressure, and temperature metrics. Delivering technical support to augment sales initiatives. Preparing comprehensive technical submittals, and training materials, along with Operations and Maintenance documentation. Participating in the fabrication, commissioning, and initial operations of control systems, which may require regional travel and entail rigorous testing protocols and coordination with field service engineers.
