Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a Lighting Designer to support the planning, design, and development of outdoor and utility-related lighting projects. This individual will be responsible for creating lighting designs, performing photometric analyses, and producing construction-ready design packages that meet client requirements, industry standards, and project objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in lighting design software and experience working on roadway, site, utility, or infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Develop lighting designs for roadway, utility, commercial, municipal, and infrastructure projects. Perform photometric calculations and analyses to ensure lighting systems meet applicable illumination standards and client specifications. Utilize lighting design software to create layouts, simulations, and design recommendations. Prepare construction drawings, lighting plans, and supporting design documentation. Coordinate with engineers, project managers, clients, and field personnel throughout the project lifecycle. Evaluate existing lighting systems and provide recommendations for upgrades, retrofits, and energy-efficient solutions. Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Assist with project schedules, deliverables, and budget considerations. Support permit applications and utility coordination efforts as required. Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise during project planning and execution.
