This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a
JACOBS U.S.
based office, but we intend to hire the "best" candidates. We're looking for an Instrument and Controls Designer?who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects focused on designing state of the art structures within Advanced Facilities. Become a member of a vibrant, dynamic team that delivers world-class designs for well-known clients around the world. You'll be accountable for developing Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) followingANSI/ISA S5.1
symbology, and panel design including panel layout and wiring diagrams. You'll also manage demanding project schedules, prepare accurate reports, and demonstrate communication skills. Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data center, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems Work within global multidisciplinary teams Manage time efficiently across multiple projects Associate Degree in drafting or engineering technology At least 2 years of BIM design experience Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Additionally, the ideal candidate will have: Experience designing data center, semiconductor, and other industrial facilities Experience in instrumentation and controls Familiarity with Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Familiarity with controls, electrical panels and cable tray Familiarity with instrument placement Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
