We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Electrical BIM Specialist. This position requires a skilled professional with expertise in electrical systems and design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing electrical design projects from concept through to completion while ensuring that all projects meet the highest technical standards and are delivered on time and within budget. As the Electrical BIM Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions and driving the department's overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Electrical Design with other MEPFP trades Collaborate with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure clear communication and effective project execution.
• Provide drawings and details to maximize efficient installation
• Model electrical systems to foremen markups
• Import panels, equipment and lighting schedules
• Create and edit 2D and 3D components/Families
• Provide As-built drawings
• Model details for I.C.S. Pre-Fab
• Coordinate with other departments (such as prefabrication, field operations, and project management) to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs into projects
• Jobsite visits/walkthroughs
• Contribute to strategic initiatives Maintain knowledge of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical design. Provide technical guidance, support, and direction to the team on complex electrical design challenges.
• Provide sketches and details to assist installation crews
• Maintain project in Forma Cloud platform Formally known as ACC
• Produce drawings to maintain the construction and coordination schedules
• Provide dimensional layouts as required on projects, including total station
• Maintain project drawing log
• Understand BIM implementation and execution plans
• Mentor Drafters, BIM Modelers, as needed
• Knowledge of project requirements and specifications
• Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers

Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical design. Proven experience in electrical system design for an electrical commercial contractor. Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Proficient in electrical design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
