Job Description

The Designer III (DT III) position is the third level in the Designer career track. This role provides designs for utility systems, including overhead and underground circuits for joint use, lighting, and commercial, industrial, and residential development, as well as gas and generation systems. This track also supports field data collection and storm restoration efforts. You'll handle moderately complex design projects and provide support on more complex projects, with more independence than the DT II, while interacting with clients/customers and construction crews. Primarily office-based with significant field work required, including exposure to inclement weather.
Pay:
$27.00- $30.00 per hour
DOE Responsibilities:
Independently perform field data collection and project-specific inspections for moderately complex projectsProduce high-quality CAD drawings and material lists for simple projects; provide support required by supervision for more complex tasksEnsure all necessary project communications are documented as required by trainingProvide guidance and training to peers and newer designers on simple projectsIndependently produce permitting documentation as neededCommunicate with clients and participate in site meetings with oversightWork independently, under supervision for mentorship, guidance, and training
Required:
