Job Description
Preparation of Coordinated internal and external drawings by following BIM scope requirements specific to the contract and field requirements for the installation of electrical work by performing the following: Study engineered contract documents and drawings to include architectural plans, mechanical plans, structural drawings, electrical one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, power and lighting plans, floor plans and specifications. Work with field teams on optimizing conduit pathways, routings, and elevations so that the power and communications distribution are the shortest and most direct paths, and free of unnecessary bends, offsets and hardware. Draw contract document mark-up (detailed) drawings for power systems installations that can be reviewed by any journeyman electrician. Work with the BIM department, foreman, sub-foremen and project management providing a flow of shop drawings to keep the field activities progressing with the project schedule.
