HDR Michigan, Inc. is seeking a CADD Technician to join our growing, nationally ranked Power Delivery team. Building on your established expertise in drafting and design, you will step into a role responsible for creating and/or modifying electric substation drawings, distribution drawings, and transmission line drawings. Key Responsibilities Perform discipline specific drafting assignments requiring application of standardized drawing techniques, under the direct supervision of an Architect/Engineer, or other technical professional Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided design software Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications One year or more experience working for an A/E firm or Utility company performing tasks aligned with the responsibilities above. #LI-EV1 Required Qualifications Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience Knowledge of standard CAD Software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc) Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite Strong attention to detail and organization skills Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts, workflows and deliverables An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
