This is a 2nd shift / evening position. Responsibilities Design, develop, program, and commission PLC-based control systems and automated manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot PLC, electrical, and equipment performance issues and implement corrective actions. Develop and modify HMI applications using FactoryTalk and related platforms. Perform I/O checkout, system testing, machine startup, commissioning, and fault-recovery testing. Support and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs, including RSLogix 500/5000 and Studio 5000. Work with industrial robotics, including FANUC and Universal Robots. Support vision and error-proofing systems such as Keyence, Cognex, SICK, IFM, and Omron. Maintain and troubleshoot safety PLCs, light curtains, area scanners, and other machine safety systems. Support SCADA systems and industrial networks, including Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, IO-Link, and Point I/O. Develop and maintain electrical schematics, functional specifications, work instructions, and other technical documentation. Qualifications Degree, diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related discipline preferred. 5+ years of controls, automation, or related manufacturing experience preferred. Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting. Experience with RSLogix 500/5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, PanelView, and HMI applications. Strong understanding of ladder logic, I/O, electrical controls, motor controls, and industrial networking. Experience with robotics, machine vision, SCADA, and automated manufacturing equipment is highly desirable. Ability to read electrical schematics and other technical documentation. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work overtime as required.
