You are being redirected Once you are on the page, please click the refer button Job Overview Qualifications Benefits Job Overview Summary The System Layout Designer/Engineer is responsible to provide layout technical solution respecting the timing, cost constraints and expectations. Duties and Responsibilities (These are the positions essential duties and is not an all inclusive list) Main areas of responsibilities are:
  • To ensure the provision of Layouts in line with Customer Specifications and ensure on-site facilities in line with customer and project requirements.
  • To prepare timely and accurate technical specifications to customer and product requirements.
  • To prepare precise timing plans for Layout and facility provision, in line with project constraints.
  • To effectively oversee and control the outputs of both internal and external labor to ensure facilities provision in terms of quality and timing commitments.
  • To effectively interact with the Process, Design and RobCad teams to create and maintain accurate Plant Layout drawings, taking lean manufacturing principles into account.
  • To ensure that customer expectations are managed and delivered, through establishing effective working relationships with key customer personnel.
  • To ensure that H&S standards are maintained.
  • To be an effective team member, working with supervisor and colleagues to ensure smooth workflow with maximum output.
  • To line Layout design for body welding facilities with AutoCAD and Micro station system.
  • Feasibility studies and alternative solution in order to reduce costs on body welding line and transports system.
  • To design layout trucking Interconnections, trucking and brackets BOMs, long lead parts lists.
  • To define position of main energy sources of the plant
  • To guarantee the technical support in the phases of assembly, installation (equipment).
  • The Designer is involved with designing, developing and update electrical and fluidic Interconnections of equipment.
  • To attend Design Reviews with colleagues and customers. Qualifications Qualifications
  • 3 years minimum related design experience
  • Technical studies in automation and mechanics Knowledge & Skills
  • 2D Cad tools
  • 2D / 3D CAD layout tools
  • 3D Modeling tools
  • Controls understanding of industrial equipment and machinery
  • Design to Installation / Commissioning
  • Layout design
  • Logistics standards / processes
  • NC management
  • Open Issue Management
  • Safety standards and norms
