Kurita's corporate philosophy is to study the properties of water, master them and create an environment in which nature and humanity are in harmony The Electrical Designer position's accountability includes the design of the electrical and control systems for Kurita America Equipment. This position requires designing electrical drawings for Kurita America Equipment.
Title:
Electrical Designer Responsibilities Maintain a safe work environment. Develop Electrical Drawings from P&ID's and I/O Lists. Source new components. Review Customer System Specifications and complete Master Project List. Various Panel Shop duties as needed. Some travel required to perform troubleshooting, training and start-up support. Work with field services to provide electrical support. Work within a budget. Performance of other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to work on multiple projects at once Associates Degree in Electrical Controls/Electrical Engineering a plus. Ability to create electrical drawings such as single line diagram, electrical architecture, panel drawing Intimately familiar with UL and NEC. Ability to use AutoCAD 2 - 3 years' experience of panel design 2 - 3 years' experience of panel production a plus MTR (Manufacturing Technical Representative) certification a plus Physical and Mental requirements: Being able to do the following in a safe and effective manner: Climbing, ascending, and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and industrial equipment, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Reaching and extending hands and arms in any direction. Standing and walking for sustained periods of time. Pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, and stooping for sustained periods of time. Using upper extremities to move objects and equipment with steady force. Sometimes working in temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
