Overview :

General Position Description The primary function of this position is to design control systems and control panels, manage projects, and function as technical support where necessary. 1. Design control systems/panels in AutoCAD or other CAD software. 2. Perform testing, start-up, and assist in installation of control panels/equipment 3. Document system operation - operation & maintenance manuals 4. Program PLC's and/or SCADA units and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) 5. Provide technical assistance for "in-house" computer network Basic Qualifications 1. Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or two year degree with two or more years relevant work experience 2. Two to five years relevant work experience 3. Computer proficiency with AutoCAD LT or equivalent CAD software. 4. Computer proficiency with MS Office Word/Excel 5. Understanding of ladder logic and able to read AutoCAD drawings/panel wiring schematic. 6. Understanding of pressure-level-flow instrumentation, pump controls, solid state motor controls 7. Understanding of National Electrical Code 2011 or later 8. Communicate effectively with internal employees and external customers 9. Ability to physically navigate a construction jobsite. May involve use of ladders and/or stairs 10. Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record (two year) 11. Ability to work independently with self-motivation and drive for results. 12. Ability/willingness to attend after-hours training classes.
