+ Benefits Build Your Career. Help Build What's Next. Habco Partnerships is seeking an Electrical BIM/VDC Technician to support electrical construction projects. This position may be based in Hanover, Maryland; St. Louis, Missouri; or Michigan City, Indiana. You will turn design documents and field information into accurate, coordinated 3D models and installation drawings that help construction teams build efficiently. Experience modeling or coordinating electrical systems for buildings or data centers is required. Candidates must understand how electrical systems are routed, coordinated, and installed within a building. What You'll Do Work closely with project managers, field leaders, and other trades to develop practical electrical layouts and resolve coordination challenges.

Develop electrical models:

Create and maintain Revit models for conduit, cable tray, electrical equipment, and related components.

Produce installation drawings:

Translate plans, specifications, field sketches, and markups into clear drawings for construction and prefabrication.

Coordinate with other trades:

Use Navisworks and related tools to identify clashes and resolve conflicts with architectural, structural, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

Maintain project documentation:

Develop Revit families, views, sheets, schedules, templates, and filters.

Keep models current:

Incorporate design revisions and changing field conditions throughout the project.

Check quality and constructability:

Review work for accuracy, completeness, and practical installation.

Communicate clearly:

Report progress, open questions, and potential schedule impacts to project leadership. Required Qualifications At least two years of electrical BIM/VDC, drafting, modeling, or coordination experience supporting building construction or data center projects Direct experience with electrical systems within buildings, including conduit routing, cable tray, equipment layouts, and coordination with other trades Working proficiency in Autodesk Revit, including model development, sheets, schedules, and shared project environments Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, one-line diagrams, panel schedules, and construction documents Understanding of electrical installation practices, symbols, and drafting standards Familiarity with Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Autodesk collaboration tools Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple assignments Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach with office and field teams High school diploma or equivalent General drafting or modeling experience alone does not meet this requirement without relevant electrical building or data center project experience.
