Onsite Job Description Bill Rate •on site Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer with 6+ years of experience in electrical and electronic product development. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, troubleshooting, and enhancement of electrical systems, electronic circuitry, and electromechanical products throughout the product lifecycle. This role requires strong technical expertise, independent decision-making, and the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines to resolve complex product development challenges. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Altium Designer, electronic circuit design, hardware troubleshooting, and product development. Experience with Visio and AutoCAD Electrical is considered a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Design and develop electrical and electronic systems for new and existing products. Create schematics, PCB layouts, and supporting documentation using Altium Designer. Develop analog, digital, power, and mixed-signal circuit designs. Perform system-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis on complex electrical and electronic issues. Support product verification, validation, and qualification activities. Evaluate design alternatives and make informed trade-offs between competing design topologies, cost, manufacturability, reliability, and performance. Extend and enhance existing product platforms while maintaining compliance with applicable standards and requirements. Lead electrical design efforts through all phases of the Product Development Process. Coordinate development activities across multidisciplinary teams including Mechanical, Software, Systems, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams. Assess technical risks and provide recommendations regarding product feasibility and design approaches. Support prototype builds, debug activities, and manufacturing transfers. Generate and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, design specifications, test procedures, and engineering reports. Serve as a technical resource for resolving complex product and system behavior issues. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to less experienced team members. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering processes, tools, and product quality. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline. Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in electrical or electronic product development. Advanced proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB design.
