S&B Christ Consulting, LLC Summary of Position:

S&B Christ Consulting is a dynamic full-service Architectural/Engineering, environmental consulting and construction management small business founded in 2009 with a clear focus on customer service. We are headquartered in Las Vegas, NV with satellite offices in Colorado Springs, CO and San Diego, CA. We have performed work around the nation, but we generally focus in the central mountains and southwest region of the US performing work for federal agencies. We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and dedicated individual to serve as an Electrical Designer. Individual shall prepare preliminary electrical design layouts and calculations as well as document project design information for assigned projects. You will support various Project Engineers and Project Managers. Designers may travel to job sites or facilities. Design requires the knowledge of electrical and some mechanical parts as well as computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as Auto

CAD DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create templates, blocks, sheet sets, and design packages with little assistance, design and prepare plans under engineer's supervision for specific projects as directed.
• Estimate quantities and accomplish basic calculations, assist in research studies and information gathering in preparation for specific design projects.
• Maintain organized files relating to designs, plans and project progression which facilitate easy access to project information for the Project Manager and other team members as required.
• Maintain proficiency in cutting edge 3D design and modeling capabilities in multiple programs including but not limited to:

ESRI GIS

; Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, 3ds Max, Infraworks, PLS-CADD.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of Building Electrical Codes and Regulations Proficiency in BIM-based electrical system design and coordination Ability to read and interpret Blueprints/Diagrams and Schematic Capture Strong skills in Layout Design, Building Systems, and BIM Software Proficiency in Microsoft Office

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as electrical designer
