Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Pick-up soiled linens from laundry chutes and/or laundry cartsPre-sort and separate linen accordingly and transfer to work cartsSeparate out laundry requiring mending or special stain removalEmpty the prepared linen from carts to washers and clean empty cartsOperate washing and drying equipment, load and unload linens from machinesMeasure and administer cleaning agents to laundry according to formula providedMonitor feeder information on washers, make sure all drums are full, and report any irregularities to housekeeping supervisorIron, fold, and count items to maintain Hampton brand standardsRun folding equipment to fold mats, blankets, towels, bedspreads, etc.

Feed sheeting into the iron at established production rateFeed linens into folding machines or hand folding them at established production ratesAssist in inventory by counting and recording various itemsDeliver clean linen from laundry department to linen/housekeeping roomsClean and maintain laundry room and equipmentFollow all OSHA regulations and Company policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environmentProperly use all cleaners and cleaning equipmentMay assist guest room attendants with stripping and stocking linens, cleaning and organizing storage/laundry/housekeeping rooms, and stocking supplies.

Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, meeting rooms, breakfast area, public restrooms, and office areasSweep and mop, dust, vacuum, and empty trash receptacles as needed in all areasCheck parking lot and surrounding areas for trash and other out of place items; Maintain trash receptacles, planter gardens, and ash urnsClean and maintain fitness room and pool area, including stocking towels, water and cup dispenser and removal of dirty towelsFill out work orders for general maintenance repairs as neededComply with all Hampton brand standards

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not requiredAbility to read, analyze and interpret OSHA required Safety Data Sheets (SDS)Identification that establishes identityIdentification that establishes the right to work in the United States
