Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an independent and detail-oriented Utility Designer to support utility and energy delivery projects. This role involves preparing utility construction drawings, work orders, permit applications, and bills of materials using AutoCAD and related engineering software. The position requires coordination with utility companies, contractors, surveyors, engineers, and inspectors to ensure successful project execution and construction support.
Responsibilities:
Prepare utility construction drawings and engineering designs using AutoCAD. Develop work orders, permit applications, and bills of materials for utility projects. Coordinate with utility providers, contractors, surveyors, and inspectors. Support utility infrastructure and energy delivery project activities. Maintain accurate project and construction documentation.
Qualifications:
Required:
Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology or related field. 1+ year of AutoCAD experience. 1+ year of engineering or utility-related experience.
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology or related field. Experience with utility infrastructure or energy delivery projects.
Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting software. Understanding of utility design and construction processes. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
