Job Description
Job Title:
Electrical DesignerDescription Work closely with the Senior Design Manager to support the design and development of electrical systems for distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and corporate buildings. This role offers exposure to both electrical design and project coordination while contributing to projects from concept through construction. Responsibilities
+ Develop electrical construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
+ Assist in the design of power distribution, lighting, emergency power, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
+ Support field investigations, site visits, and documentation of existing conditions.
+ Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, mechanical, plumbing, structural, and controls teams.
+ Participate in design reviews and implement feedback from project stakeholders.
+ Prepare one-line diagrams, panel schedules, load calculations, and equipment layouts.
+ Provide support during construction and assist with project administration activities. Required Skills

+ Experience supporting projects within food manufacturing, distribution centers, industrial, or large commercial facilities.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
