Position Summary Information Qualifications Required The candidate is required to have a minimum of an associate's degree in Electrical Technology or related field, five years of collective relevant work experience, and a State Electrical License; or a bachelor's degree in Electrical Technology or related field with three years of collective relevant experience, and a State of Nebraska or Reciprocal Electrical license. Knowledge of National, State, and Local Electrical Codes, residential and commercial wiring and theory, residential and commercial electrical tools and equipment required. General Summary The instructor will teach courses as part of the Electrical Fundamental Certificate, courses include Electrical safety, Electrical Systems, Residential wiring, commercial wiring, and commercial wiring I. The instructor will collaborate with the Associate Dean and other program instructors to assist students in accessing learning and attaining educational goals; facilitate learning by providing varied learning experiences and teaching in instructional modalities as assigned; and professionally represent the college, its role and mission. The instructor will meet the education and work experience standards set forth in the job specifications. The instructor will perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures and accreditation standards. Courses are offering in the evening out of the Kearney Center.
