WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a VDC Inventor Detailer , you'll help transform engineering concepts into accurate, detailed 3D models and construction drawings that support fabrication and field installation.

Your responsibilities will include:

Model parts and equipment for substations, transmission, and renewable energy projects. Collaborate with the Utility VDC Coordination Team to create and coordinate 3D models. Prepare fabrication and installation drawings for construction and prefabrication. Generate detailed installation drawings for field and prefabrication personnel. Assist with identifying and resolving design and constructability challenges. Develop your technical and VDC skills with the goal of advancing into a VDC Utility Coordinator role.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent 1-2 years of experience using Autodesk Inventor or construction experience in High Voltage Substation/Transmission/Distribution, or Renewable Energy or other related field Ability to read and interpret design or construction documents preferred Vaughn Industries is a family owned construction company headquartered in Carey, Ohio that has been in business for over 60 years.
