Qualifications and responsibilities for this Controls Engineer/PLC Programmer position include: 5+ years of controls engineering, PLC programming, and machine commissioning experience; candidates with 2-3 years may be considered if closely aligned. Demonstrated ability to write PLC programs from scratch (not just modify or troubleshoot existing code). Strong Allen-Bradley PLC experience, particularly ControlLogix and CompactLogix, with ladder logic programming. Experience developing industrial HMI applications (FactoryTalk View, PanelView, and/or comparable platforms). Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control drawings, using them to develop complete controls programs. Experience integrating VFDs, motors, sensors, and other industrial control devices, with strong troubleshooting across controls, networking, and hardware. Lead commissioning and startup at customer facilities, including travel approximately 25-35%. Own documentation, software backups, configuration files, revision records, and controls-related operating and support materials.

Salary:

$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
