Shift:
2nd shift, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM (flexible around start time).
Qualifying Questions:
Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance? Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role? Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?
Summary:
Develops, maintains, and releases electrical and mechanical drawings, systems designs, and engineering documentation using company, industry, and governmental standards. Prepares documentation and incorporates design changes using design tools. Creates, develops, and maintains systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs, and identifying design discrepancies. Supports engineering system design and functionality validation activities. Develops and maintains product installation designs and part designs ranging from simple to moderately complex. Plans, conducts, and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes. Designs wire harnesses and cables, and fabricates, installs, routes, terminates, solders, and repairs electrical wiring harnesses and electrical components. Uses power measurement test and measurement instrumentation including power supplies, power meters, and analyzers. Performs electrical troubleshooting using volt ohm meters and electrical system drawings. Coordinates activities and products with internal partners and external suppliers.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR). Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor 1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.). 3+ years of experience with designing the fabrication of wire harnesses and cables. 3+ years of experience using power measurement test and measurement instrumentation (power supplies, power meters, analyzers). Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings. 3+ years of experience with electrical troubleshooting utilizing volt ohm meters and electrical system drawings. Experience fabricating, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses or electrical components and associated equipment. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8-hour shift.
Preferred:
Associate degree or higher.
Preferred:
Knowledge with GOLDesp (work orders, fabrication orders).
