PLC Programmer US Roaster Corp Oklahoma City, OK Job Details Full-time From $25 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications System design Manufacturing facility Attention to detail PLC programming System testing Sensors Full Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PLC Programmer/Electrician to join our coffee roasting and manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, and maintaining programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems that support coffee roasting equipment operations. Your expertise will play a critical role in maximizing production efficiency, ensuring product consistency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout our manufacturing facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art roasting equipment, and industrial automation technologies in a fast-paced environment dedicated to producing premium-quality coffee products. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC programs for coffee roasting equipment. Support automation systems, VFDs, sensors, and industrial networks to ensure reliable production operations. Optimize roasting processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and equipment performance. Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality assurance, and engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements. Troubleshoot electrical and automation issues to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability. Assist with commissioning, startup, and validation of new equipment and production lines. Develop and maintain documentation including electrical schematics, PLC code backups, and operating procedures. Ensure compliance with manufacturing regulations, safety standards, and company quality requirements. Support preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles. Analyze production data and system performance to identify opportunities for increased productivity and reduced waste. Qualifications Experience programming and troubleshooting PLC systems in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of industrial automation, motor controls, VFDs, and sensors Experience with Direct Logic, Siemens, or similar PLC platforms preferred. Familiarity with coffee roaster manuafacturing is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment. Understanding of electrical schematics, control systems, and industrial safety standards. Commitment to quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
