Job Description
Are you an experienced AutoCAD professional with a background in electrical drafting? We're looking for an Electrical CAD Designer to join a collaborative engineering team supporting exciting industrial projects. If you enjoy creating detailed electrical drawings and working alongside engineers on complex facility designs, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Create and revise electrical drawings using AutoCAD. Develop one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, and electrical plan view drawings. Produce accurate construction and design documentation. Work closely with engineers and project teams to incorporate design changes. Maintain drawing quality, organization, and documentation standards. Coordinate effectively with both in-office and remote team members. Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of AutoCAD experience. Experience producing electrical design drawings, including: One-line diagrams Riser diagrams Electrical plan views Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Instrumentation & Controls, Construction Technology, or a related field. Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70/NEC). Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing, industrial facilities, or similar environments.
