Job Description
Jr Electrical Designer Allentown, PA 6-12+ month contract Job Scope Develop electrical designs for industrial control systems and automated equipment Create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical Support projects from concept through design, build, startup, and implementation Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project teams to ensure successful project execution Assist with troubleshooting, system testing, and commissioning activities Support continuous improvement efforts related to electrical systems and controls Maintain accurate electrical documentation and drawing packages Qualifications Experience designing electrical systems for industrial controls or automation equipment Knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, motor controls, and electrical components Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical Experience with Inventor and/or EPLAN is a plus Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred Junior-level candidates with relevant internship, co-op, or hands-on design experience encouraged to apply Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled.
