Summary:
We are seeking a Revit Modeler to support the design of high-voltage substation projects. This role focuses on creating and maintaining 3D Revit models and producing 2D construction drawings to support engineering and construction activities. Responsibilities include developing substation layouts, modeling equipment and basic systems such as conduit, grounding, and cable routing, and ensuring drawings are accurate and up to date. The modeler will work closely with engineering teams to coordinate designs and incorporate changes based on project feedback. Candidate may work on federal projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in drafting technology or related field and min 2 years hands-on Revit experience OR Associate Degree and min 3 years hands-on Revit experience OR High School Diploma/GED and mins 4 years hands-on Revit experience is required. Applicable Associated Degree is highly preferred. Bachelor's degree in any Engineering field from an ABET accredited is not allowed for any CADD roles. Internship doesn't count towards the number of years of experience. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of Revit experience (5 years preferred), along with experience using AutoCAD and the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and engineering plans. Substation or utility project experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively in a team environment supporting fast-paced infrastructure projects.
