The Role The PLC Control Engineer is responsible for the setup, editing, testing, troubleshooting and implementation of computer control systems used for production automation. The PLC Control Engineer will help design and develop systems for use on the production line. Their designs will help increase production efficiency by evaluating the performance and proposing then implementing improvements.

problem solver , you ask the right questions to uncover the root cause and can quickly iterate to a final, well-thought-out result. A hands-on team player , you spend the majority of your time out on the production working with peers at all levels of the production team. An experienced PLC Controller, you have 3-5 years of continuous work experience with PLC, preferably with Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi, and Maintenance. You are able to not just program but edit coding, troubleshoot and perform testing.TOP RESPONSIBILITIES
Designs, installs, optimizes, and adapts electronic control systems and instruments to automate and monitor industrial processes. Develops technical designs, process diagrams, SCADA block diagrams, and control schematics to implement automation controls. Configures systems using PLC and HMI techniques. Models, test, and measures output and data to analyze performance or quality issues and develop solutions.QUALIFICATIONS
BS or higher degree in an engineering discipline-required; Controls or Mechanical Engineering- preferred 3-5 years of recent continuous work experience with PLC Experience with Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi

- preferred Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles Background in Maintenance
- preferred Experience with evaluating and troubleshooting PLC in relation to the manufacturing processes and machinery.
