Job Description

Senior Industrial PLC/Controls EngineerOnsite in Olive Nashville, TNDirect Hire/PermWe are seeking an experienced PLC/Controls Engineer to join our automation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining control systems for industrial automation applications. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliable operation of automated processes and systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement PLC programs for industrial automation systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and PLC hardware.

Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate SCADA and HMI systems into existing infrastructure.

Perform system testing and validation to ensure compliance with safety standards and specifications.

Develop and maintain documentation for control systems, including software and hardware configurations.

Provide technical support and training to operations staff on control system functionalities.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.,QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.

Proven experience in controls engineering and automation programming.

Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages and hardware, particularly Siemens S7 and Allen-Bradley systems.

Familiarity with SCADA, HMI, and industrial networking protocols.

Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.

Understanding of safety systems and compliance regulations in industrial automation.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
