About LiquidStack About LiquidStack & the Team LiquidStack is the established leader in liquid cooling for data center, HPC, and AI workloads, with manufacturing, R D, and headquarters in Carrollton, Texas and a longstanding engineering presence in Hong Kong. As part of Trane Technologies, we are scaling our US-based engineering capability to augment our Hong Kong team. The new Texas engineering team will focus on the design, development, and delivery of large Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) and skidded direct-to-chip platforms — including our GigaModular™ CDU family — for hyperscale, colocation, and AI infrastructure customers. The team will own manufacturability, ETL / CSA / CE / NRTL compliance, and customer-facing engineering for these product families, working in close collaboration with the Hong Kong team on shared architecture and component engineering. The PLC team owns the controls software and HMI for skidded CDUs — including resilient management control for the GigaModular™ family — covering PLC programming, BMS integration, and customer-visible control behavior. Role Overview Senior individual contributor and technical authority on PLC controls. Additional Responsibilities Own controls software architecture across the CDU portfolio. Establish coding standards, library structures, and review practices. Lead customer-facing controls discussions and BMS integration design. Mentor the PLC Engineer. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain PLC programs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent) for CDU and skidded platforms. Design HMI screens and operator interfaces.
