Job Description

Instrumentation & Electrical Designer
Location:
Mont Belvieu, TX
Duration:
12-month Contract

Responsibilities:
Facilitate project design and drafting management in accordance with industry andpany STD's as necessary to ensure the successfulpletion of all project related activities.
Detailed items include:
Assigning electrical equipment and instrument tagging numbers Assigning conduit and cable numbers Resolving drawing development issues Drafting changes to record drawings Preparation of process flow diagrams (PFD), piping & instrument diagrams (P&ID), general equipment layouts, facility plot plans, and equipment and instrument lists for variouspany plant, pipeline and related facilities construction projects. Assist in the development of Project Scopes, Engineering / Design Scopes, and Construction Scopes of Work, for use in the establishment of contracts with third parties. Attend project meetings to obtain full understanding of customer needs and scope definitions, and to provide technical input toward efficient and effective designs. Generate material requisitions for submittal to project manager for approvals. Participate in the development and maintenance of Company standard drawings. Must be willing and able to travel by air and/or automobile to facility sites as required. E/I Designer Design/ Drafting Professional
