What Our Work Looks Like Provide programming expertise on new products and technology. Provide programming expertise and control system design for small to medium-sized oil and gas installations throughout East Texas and surrounding areas. Program SCADA products and provide ongoing support for these systems, including IDEC PLCs, Allen Bradley PLCs, SCADAPack, Totalflow products, Bristol, Siemens PLCs, ROC, Kimray and Schneider M221 controllers. Program HMI-related products, including PanelView, FactoryTalk, Citect, SCADA Vantage and ClearSCADA. Provide communications and networking assistance, including radio and cellular systems. Based in the Tyler, TX area, with travel throughout East Texas and surrounding oil and gas operating areas as required for new project work and in response to business needs. Provide exceptional customer support to clients both in the office and in the field. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of hands-on PLC programming experience at oil and gas sites is required. Journeyman or Apprentice Instrumentation/Electrician qualifications would be an asset. Experience with hands-on installation and commissioning of control systems would be an asset. Strong customer service skills. Demonstrated experience working outdoors in all climatic conditions and, at times, in remote locations. Capable of working efficiently under pressure in a sometimes physically demanding environment. Willing and able to travel throughout the region as required.
