Solar Designer

Job Description:

The Solar Design team member is responsible for creating site plans and electrical drawings that will be used by installers for residential solar installation projects. Designers will use Scanifly to create an accurate model of the home. They will be responsible for creating site plans and drawings including electrical diagrams that will be submitted to the city for approval.

ON THE JOB TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED

Responsibilities:

Answer office phones to assist with design/engineering related questions from

ES SOLAR

employees, city plan reviewers, and customers. Complete site plans and electrical drawings. Respond and fulfil design tickets. Contact inspectors and/or plan reviewers to resolve tickets.

Qualifications:

Basic computer skills Critical thinking Ability to learn and adapt to changes quickly Ability to work well as a team Willingness to learn and accept constrictive criticism essential to growth CAD/Design software knowledge is a plus but not required Electrical/Solar/NEC Knowledge is a plus but not required

Monday•Friday 9:00am•5:00pm
