BIM FAMILY DESIGNER - DIRECT HIRE

POSITION SUMMARY

The BIM Family Designer is responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and maintaining Revit libraries used to create shelter designs. This position works closely with structural, mechanical, and electrical designers to ensure BIM families are accurate, functional, and meet project standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop BIM/Revit models using sketches, verbal information, vendor cut sheets, bid letters, customer specifications, and supplied drawings. Create, modify, and maintain Revit families and libraries. Ensure Revit libraries meet established standards and provide proper functionality. Assist with developing and documenting Revit library standards. Collaborate with structural, mechanical, and electrical design teams to resolve issues efficiently. Maintain strong communication and working relationships across departments. Travel occasionally as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree or certificate in Computer-Aided Design, AutoCAD/Revit, or equivalent Revit experience. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience creating Revit families in structural, mechanical, and/or electrical applications. Revit experience required/preferred. Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and Revit. Strong understanding of algebra, geometry, and mathematical formulas. Technical knowledge of architectural, mechanical, and electrical design concepts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
