Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a skilled Electrical/Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development and maintenance of complex engineering systems and documentation. This role involves leading design efforts, managing configuration control, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables across multiple projects. This job will have the following responsibilities: Lead the development, maintenance, and release of electrical and mechanical drawings, system designs, and engineering documentation in compliance with industry and regulatory standards. Interpret and manage design requirements across multiple customer projects. Utilize CAD tools to document and maintain configuration design control. Create and modify complex system designs, including design layouts and integration of system elements. Validate engineering system design and functionality to ensure performance and compliance. Oversee product installation and part design processes, from simple to highly complex components. Coordinate with internal teams, external suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables. Review and assign tasks to team members, providing guidance with minimal supervision.
