Pay:
$60,000.00 per year
Shift:
Monday- Friday, 1st shift
Location:
Dothan, AL or Mobile, ALThis is a local service role with minimal travel. Typical service territory is within the local market, with the maximum drive time approximately 1.5 hours. Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced DDC Controls Service Technician to support our growing base of captive service customers as well as provide service support to installed-project clients. This role focuses exclusively on controls systems associated with HVAC equipment—including VAV boxes, air handling units, pumps, and related control devices. This position does not involve mechanical service or equipment repair. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair DDC control systems associated with HVAC equipmentRespond to service calls for both contracted service customers and installed-project clientsIdentify control-related issues including sensors, controllers, actuators, networks, and programming logicNavigate and support systems using Niagara Framework (N4)Perform point-to-point verification, controller replacement, and minor programming modificationsIdentify service opportunities and communicate recommendations to customers and internal teamsAccurately document service activities and resolutionsSupport long-term system reliability and customer satisfactionRequired Qualifications Prior DDC controls experience required (manufacturer background does not matter)Strong understanding of building automation systemsAbility to work independently in the fieldStrong communication and customer service skillsValid driver's license and clean driving recordPreferred Qualifications Niagara N4 programming or navigation experienceFamiliarity with Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, or similar BAS platformsAbility to read control drawings, sequences, and wiring diagramsWork Environment Local service work onlyControls-focused role, not mechanical serviceSupportive team with strong technical leadershipCompensation & Benefits Commission opportunities for selling service agreements and upselling service projectsCompany-provided fully equipped service truckPaid medical benefitsPerformance-based bonusesPaid vacation and holidaysLong-term career growth opportunities Sirius Staffing is an equal-opportunity employer.
