BAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team of professionals as a Compass Call Field Service Representative (FSR). Compass Call is an airborne tactical electronic attack weapon system that disrupts enemy command and control communications, radars, and navigation systems to restrict adversary battlespace coordination. The qualified candidate will provide technical support to the USAF on the flight line and perform component repair of Prime Mission Equipment. The selected individual will be expected to: Have in-depth knowledge in Air Force maintenance methodologies that support war-fighter operations Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, determine technical solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommend actions to company or customer representatives Assess product needs in accordance with customer specifications Key job responsibilities include the following: Become an aircraft/flightline Electronic Warfare (EW) Prime Mission Equipment (PME) expert on one of the most unique and complex Electronic Warfare platforms in the world Support the latest, most advanced, cutting-edge communications jammer Perform PME system maintenance System Start Up/Shutdown Built-In-Test (BIT) execution and results interpretation System alignments System troubleshooting and repair System upgrades Perform off-aircraft Backshop component level troubleshooting and repair Provide Input and recommendations to Technical Documents Interface with Software, Hardware, and Systems engineers to identify, report, and resolve field issues Participate in platform future capability IV&V, Acceptance Test Sell-Off, and courseware development & delivery for future and current capabilities Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Candidate may be required at times to rotationally support 1st, 2nd or 3rd or weekend shifts, to support site OPTEMPO. Deployment events will range from one to twenty-four consecutive weeks at a time and will require travel to both CONUS and OCONUS locations. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Candidates must ensure that resume addresses all stated requirements of the posted requisition. Only resumes that specifically include all required skills/experience/ education will be considered Must hold an active Top Secret clearance Bachelors Degree and 2 years' work experience or equivalent experience Able to become proficient in current and future baseline operations of the Compass Call Weapon System onboard the EA-37B aircraft Electronics/Avionics Experience/Education Ability to execute Field Travel to be approximately 25% Qualified to Deploy in support of Program OCONUS Requirements and follow Flexible work schedule based on flight operations/work requirements Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience with Compass Call Weapon System and able to become proficient in future Baseline operations Strong organizational and intermediate abilities in the following: EW, RF and/or, Electronics Electrical troubleshooting Maintenance and fault isolation Cable/Connector Repair Proficient in the operation of Test equipment (Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, FieldFoxes, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes) COMSEC/Cryptographic experience (SKL, KG175, KG250) Networking Equipment (Routers, Switches, & Modems) A+/Network+/Security+ experience or certification Satellite Communications (SATCOM) (Ku/Ka Band, ViaSat, etc.)
