$95,000 - $120,000 + Full Benefits + Car Allowance Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Field Engineer to support large-scale, mission-critical projects across the U.S. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with experience in access control, CCTV, and integrated security systems , who thrives in fast-paced environments and is looking to grow into leadership. This is a travel-heavy position (~75%) , supporting field deployments, commissioning, and system programming, with additional time spent in a controlled environment preparing and staging systems. Key Responsibilities Perform on-site commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting of security systems Support installation and integration of access control, CCTV, and related infrastructure Conduct system testing, validation, and performance checks Assist with preprogramming, staging, and configuration of equipment Work closely with project teams, engineers, and field technicians Travel to project sites nationwide to support deployments Maintain clear documentation and communication throughout project lifecycle Required Experience Experience with electronic security systems (access control, CCTV) Hands-on experience with system commissioning, programming, or troubleshooting Familiarity with platforms such as Lenel, Genetec, C-Cure, Avigilon, or similar Ability to work in fast-paced, high-demand environments Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Additional Requirements Must be open to frequent nationwide travel (50-75%) Must be able to pass background check and drug screening Must be able to operate in secure / badged environments Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $95K - $120K Car allowance + company credit card + phone + laptop Full benefits (medical, dental, vision) 401(k) with match PTO + paid holidays Clear path for career advancement into senior engineering / leadership roles #tekone
