Overview:

The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in the design, development, and testing of new electrical components for new products. Working with moderate supervision, this role focuses on hands-on engineering execution, circuit design, and cross-functional collaboration to bring reliable products from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Independently design and execute electrical and electronic testing of products to ensure high performance and reliability. Assist in architecting solutions for schematics, circuit board design, and cable design, including but not limited to creation of PCBA and cable design drawings and documentation. Oversee the entire PCBA life cycle from schematic, PCB layout, to PCBA testing on parts they design Assist in peer review of electrical, mechanical, and cable assemblies Investigate and analyze new materials, components, technologies, and applications for potential integration into product lines Structure and manage assigned project tasks efficiently with moderate supervision and guidance. Demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, and enthusiasm to creatively solve technical challenges. Coordinate across functional groups to ensure necessary project inputs and tasks are completed on time. Support hands-on reverse engineering and electrical integration for new and existing products. May perform other related responsibilities as required by the company

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience Understand the fundamentals of PCB layout Experienced with high-speed circuit integration (USB2, USB3, PCIe, Ethernet, thunderbolt, serial and other standard computer IO interfaces, etc). Hands-on experience with schematic and PCB layout software; i.e. Autodesk Fusion 360 Hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting of components and equipment Technical writing experience for creating test procedures and technical documentation Conscientious, responsible, detail-oriented, and results-driven Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with strong organizational abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Intermediate familiarity DC/DC power conversion
