Job Description

About Us:
We design and manufacturer of state-of-the-art Gate Operators and Access Control products. We are a fast-paced, growing company located in Orange County, CA. We pride ourselves on building reliable, high-performance embedded technology. We are currently seeking a skilled Electronics Technician / Test Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team and help us test, troubleshoot, and assemble the next generation of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting:
Identify, analyze, and resolve electrical defects down to the component level.
Assembly & Prototyping:
Build, modify, and repair electronic components, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and electro-mechanical assemblies from schematics and blueprints.
Testing & Diagnostics:
Perform rigorous functional testing on prototypes and production units using oscilloscopes, multimeters. This is a flex position where you will work as an electronics technician while gaining knowledge with the engineering department by being involved in testing of new products. We are expanding our product line and are looking for that right person that can work between departments at a moment's notice. You must enjoy hands on work, but also be open to working in a team as input is always appreciated. As a small company we work with technicians, engineering, and consultant staff as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
1-3+ years of hands-on experience in electronics testing, assembly, or repair.
Technical Skills:
Strong soldering skills (surface mount and through-hole). Familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies) Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wire diagrams, and technical manuals. Strong board & product testing skills
Education:
Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field (equivalent hands-on industry experience will also be considered).

What We Offer Competitive Salary:
$50k - 65K per year, based on experience.
