PAY RATE:

$170,000-210,000/year

Summary:

Leads the full PCB design cycle including requirements definition, schematic design, component selection, layout oversight, bring-up, functional verification, and performance testing.

Designs, develops, integrates, and debugs avionics systems and subsystems for aircraft and launcher electrical systems.

Develops system interconnect diagrams and defines wire harnesses connecting systems throughout the air vehicle.

Supports design updates driven by product improvements, obsolescence management, and evolving requirements.

Conducts peer-level and cross-disciplinary design reviews for electronics systems.

Applies strong understanding of analog, mixed-signal, digital, and RF circuit components.

Uses common electronic test equipment and CAD tools such as Altium for circuit design and validation.

Applies experience with microcontrollers, common serial interfaces, high-speed communications, and firmware and software integration.

Applies knowledge of MIL-Spec hardware and harnessing for aerospace systems.

Supports advanced UAS and ISR platform development programs.

Requirements:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience in electronics design and development.

Demonstrated capability in complex circuit board design, bring-up, signal and power integrity analysis, and validation.

Proven experience designing electronics from concept through functional prototype, including hardware selection, documentation, system-level integration, and troubleshooting.

Strong understanding of analog, mixed-signal, digital, and RF circuit components.

Detailed working knowledge of common electronic test equipment and CAD tools such as Altium.

Excellent problem-solving and planning skills.

Preferred:

Experience designing electronics for robotic or aircraft systems.

Preferred:

Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, serial interfaces, high-speed communications, and firmware or software integration.

Preferred:

Familiarity with MIL-Spec hardware and harnessing, and experience in UAS or UAV systems.
