About the Role As an Electronics Quality & Test Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and reliability of sophisticated RF and microwave components. You will leverage your technical expertise to troubleshoot complex assemblies, contributing directly to the success of high-stakes aerospace and defense technology projects. Responsibilities Optimize and validate microwave subsystems through precise tuning, alignment, and rigorous testing protocols. Execute environmental and pulse-focusing tests to ensure hardware meets stringent operational benchmarks. Conduct detailed diagnostics and repairs on returned components to restore peak functionality. Utilize advanced instrumentation, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes, to capture accurate performance data. Collaborate with engineering teams to refine troubleshooting processes and support the successful launch of new electronic products. Maintain comprehensive testing logs and provide actionable status reports to drive production efficiency. Ensure all output adheres to high-quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in electrical or electronic testing within a high-tech manufacturing or laboratory setting. Proficiency in operating essential test equipment such as multimeters, power meters, and oscilloscopes. Strong foundational knowledge of electronics theory and Ohm's Law. Technical Associate degree or equivalent specialized military electronics training. Must be a U.S. Citizen with the eligibility to obtain a D.O.D. security clearance. Preferred Skills Direct experience with RF or microwave component testing. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical findings effectively. High attention to detail when documenting test results and assembly processes.
