Job Description

Sr.
Engineer, MEMS Characterization and Metrology Location:
Santa Clara, CA Onsite Full-Time/Permanent Job Summary As a Senior MEMS Characterization and Metrology Engineer, you will use your technical and creative problem-solving skills to develop and deploy custom MEMS test systems for engineering characterization and manufacturing test of MEMS resonators.
Responsibilities:
Exploration and prototyping novel test methodologies for high-precision timing parameter measurements. Hands-on hardware development and system validation of custom MEMS test systems for engineering and mass production. Development of software for test execution and automation, data acquisition, system calibration, and data analysis required for high-precision timing devices. Documentation of MEMS test system architecture, design, software, etc. Collaboration with cross-functional teams for system qualification and release-to-production. Optimization of system performance focusing on throughput, precision, and reliability. Drive and/or support projects and other company-driven objectives, as needed
Qualifications & Requirements :
MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics. PhD is preferred. Exceptional candidates with other technical backgrounds will be considered. Proven track record of driving technical projects and executing on aggressive schedules in cross-functional teams. Hands-on experience with analog electronics, board-level design and debug, electrical characterization of RF devices, and deep knowledge of associated test equipment. Demonstrated programming experience in C#, familiarity with LabView and MATLAB is a plus. Strong ability to design, conduct, and analyze experiment results Previous experience with MEMS design, test and/or characterization is preferred.
