Job Description
The Test Engineer III supports sustaining engineering and manufacturing operations through development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated test equipment (ATE) and functional test systems. This role partners with customer focus teams (CFTs) and customers to define test requirements, improve test processes, support production goals, and drive failure analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Support and maintain ATE, ICT, flying probe, and functional test systems at board and system levels. Develop, update, and document test programs, fixtures, and procedures. Partner with CFTs and customers to implement and improve manufacturing test solutions. Troubleshoot test stations and product failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Perform failure analysis, validate issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Support manufacturing teams in meeting production and quality goals. Ensure compliance with
ESD, MSD/MSL
handling, ISO standards, and 6S practices. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. 6+ years of experience in manufacturing test engineering or a similar environment. Experience with Flying Probe, ICT, Boundary Scan, and functional test methodologies. Strong troubleshooting and debug skills for analog, digital, and RF circuits. Ability to read schematics and use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and signal analyzers. Familiarity with programming languages/tools such as Python, C++, C#, Java, LabVIEW, Perl, or Visual Basic. Knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and test communication protocols (GPIB, RS-232, USB, I2C, SPI). Understanding of SMT/Box-Build manufacturing and PCB layout/viewer tools. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to work independently.Pay:
