  • Washington, DC Region (On-Site) Hiring for a trusted provider of laboratory instrument repair and maintenance, offering a high-quality alternative to OEM service.
With 17+ years of experience and deep expertise across platforms like AKTA™ FPLC, LC/MS, centrifuges, and Biacore™ SPR systems, ATG supports clients across North America, Europe, and the UK. They are known for strong technical capability and a customer-first approach. We are looking for a Centrifuge Field Service Engineer/Technician to support the Washington, DC region. This is a hands-on, client-facing role working directly with laboratory equipment in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform repair, preventative maintenance, and calibration on centrifuge systems Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site at customer labs Provide technical support and guidance on proper system use and maintenance Build strong relationships with clients through excellent service delivery Manage service schedules and travel to client sites as needed (≈75% regional travel)
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working with laboratory equipment (centrifuges preferred) Strong mechanical and/or electromechanical troubleshooting skills Field service experience with the ability to work independently Proven problem-solving ability and technical aptitude Strong communication and customer service skills Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience
Compensation:
$100,000
  • $110,000 base salary (depending on experience) This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, solving technical challenges, and being directly involved in customer success.
