BR Description:
The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking an Electronics Engineer to support the mission operations and troubleshoot, support, test and develop Missile Yellow Gear, Special Test Equipment, and Support Equipment.
Location:
This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility at one of the Coolest places to work: Cape Canaveral FL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time. Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
  • Occasional travel to other test locations
  • Troubleshoot anomalies with test equipment
  • Calibration and repair of test equipment
  • Provide design updates to Application Test Equipment (ATE) as required
  • To be effective in this role, you will need:
  • 1+ years of professional experience for this role.
  • Be willing and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance , thus US Citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Hardware troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with
Windows and Microsoft Office Suite of Tools Desired Skills:
  • Strong technical background with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or other similar systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to support missions, involving extended hours during mission.
  • Familiar with In-Tube-Conversion, Yellow Gear, Ground Electrical Support Equipment.
  • Demonstrated an ability to coordinate with small diverse teams in development and troubleshooting of tech products.
  • Experience reading schematic diagrams and other technical documentations.
  • Must be able to work autonomously and drive items to closure.
  • Issue Tracking experience.
  • Has active Security Clearance
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
Windchill, Zuken, CREO Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
