Job Description

The Ninth Judicial Circuit Court is a progressive trial court in Central Florida where employees make a difference. Position description The Ninth Judicial Circuit Court is seeking a self-motivated, energetic, and customer-oriented Audio-Visual (A/V) professional to support the daily operations of our Audio-Visual department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced A/V engineer to contribute and grow within a progressive, technology-forward court environment. This position focuses on courtroom technology projects, including equipment design, installation, replacement, and lifecycle refreshes. The role also serves as a mentor and escalation point for other A/V staff, providing additional support and guidance on complex technical issues. Key Responsibilities Perform A/V equipment installations, upgrades, and replacements in courtrooms and related facilities. Assist with the design, configuration, and testing of courtroom A/V systems. Support lifecycle refresh projects to maintain reliable and modernized technology. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain A/V systems to ensure seamless courtroom operations. Provide mentorship and serve as a point of escalation for A/V staff on advanced technical issues. Work closely with vendors and contractors during project implementations. Balance multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality and service. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of professional A/V experience, including installation and support. Strong background in A/V systems design, installation, and configuration. Experience with A/V equipment, lifecycle replacement and refresh projects. Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments. Strong mentoring skills and ability to provide guidance to team members when needed. Excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills. Orange County Funded position with benefits.
